This advanced binder absorbs hydrocarbons as well as many chemicals, paints, solvents, polymers, fuels, and other hazardous liquids, making it a single, versatile solution for multiple applications. Rapid Absorption on Any Surface SORB®XT works within seconds, absorbing approximately 8–10 times its own weight. It can be safely used on water, asphalt, roads, industrial floors, and general ground surfaces. Thanks to its lightweight structure, handling is easy, while disposal is more cost-effective than traditional mineral binders. When applied to asphalt, SORB®XT restores surface safety almost instantly, achieving up to 95% slip resistance within seconds of application. Work the material into the spill using a broom, shovel, or suitable mechanical tool. Allow the binder to absorb the liquid. Sweep or skim up the saturated material.
