Description MSA 220 T CORDLESS TREE CARE SAW: TOP-HANDLE SAW WITH HIGH CUTTING PERFORMANCE The MSA 220 T is STHL’s most powerful cordless top-handle saw to date. This professional arborist saw is ideal for removing pieces of trunk, crown correction, or removing dead wood. It has an electronic trigger system with an unlock button for simple saw activation, which leads to easy operation and the LED display on the top handle also shows information on the operating status of the chainsaw, as well as the chain break position. With an easy-to-clean air filter for long service life and optimum engine cooling, excellent cutting performance, side-mounted chain tensioning, tool-free oil tank cap, captive nut on the sprocket cover. Working time with recommended AP 300 S battery is up to 29 minutes. Must be used with AP 300 S or AP 500 S battery for full performance. Standard features Intuitive controls and a bright LED display The MSA 300 features intuitive controls and a bright LED display. Three speed settings limit the chain speed to 20, 24 or 30 m/s, meaning the user can maximise battery life when completing less intensive tasks such as snedding or brashing. Status of the chain brake and temperature warnings are also displayed in red. Side chain tensioner The tensioning screw can be found on the side of the chain saw through the sprocket cover. This removes the need for contact with the sharp saw chain. Captive nuts When changing the cutting attachment, you will not risk losing the nuts on the sprocket. Fleece filter The fleece filter in our new MSA 300 guarantees consistent performance – even in extreme conditions. Its extraordinarily finepored filter material keeps even very fine dust and dirt away from the power electronics and electric motor. To clean it, remove the fleece filter and spray it with STIHL Varioclean, briefly leaving it to work before rinsing out with warm water and letting the filter dry. Then it is ready to use again. Fold-out hook The fold-out hook serves as a carrying rope attachment for lowering the arborist saw and for security. When it is pushed in, the hook doesn't get in the way of your work or when it's in storage.
