The cable is straight (without an angled connector) to ensure a clean and uncomplicated installation without kinks. The cable uses a standard 4-pin JST connector that is compatible with devices supporting Victron’s VE.Direct protocol. It is used to transmit data and configuration between controllers, monitors or control panels. Technical specifications and compatibility The cable is suitable for connection between popular controller models (e.g. MPPT series) and Victron monitors or panels.It is molded for greater resistance to humidity, vibration and mechanical stress.The signal is transmitted via the VE.Direct protocol at a speed of 19200 baud, without parity and with 1 stop bit – a standard setting for Victron devices.When the length is maintained and the shielding is good, the cable provides reliable and silent communication between components.
